DAY 01:  ARRIVE DEHRADUN – MUSSOORIE ((02hrs)

Pick up from airport and drive to  Mussoorie , enroute stopping at Sahastradhara:  meaning thousandfold spring, is situated at a distance of 11 kms. This is a massive collection of water pools where water drips from limestone stalactites and turns them into sulfur springs. Taking a bath at Sahastradhara is regarded as both auspicious and healing since the water contains medicinal properties that can help people suffering from skin infections and helps in curing some other medical conditions as well.  After this wonderful experience, proceed to Mussoorie. Check into the hotel.  Mussoorie:  The word Mussoorie comes from a Mussoorie plant called Shrubmansoor, which grows abundantly in this region. Its lovely green hills, diversified flora and fauna, and spectacular vistas of the Shivalik peaks and Doon Valley make it an ideal hill resort.  Overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 02:  MUSSOORIE

Breakfast at hotel. Later enjoy the sightseeing covering Prakasheshwar temple, Mussoorie lake, Bhatta fall, Kempty falls, company garden and Buddha monastery.

 

Note: Vehicle will not visit Gun hill, mall road, Lal Tibba and Landour. You will need to hire local taxi from the local union for the same.

 

DAY 03:  MUSSOORIE – RISHIKESH               (2-3hrs)

After breakfast drive to Rishikesh:   Rishikesh: ‘Place of sages’ is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. Besides holding spiritual significance for Hindus, Rishikesh is renowned as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World,’ The fast-flowing Ganges is surrounded by forested hills inside the city. Apart from temples and ashrams Rishikesh is now a popular white-water rafting centre, backpacker hang-out, and gateway to treks in the Himalaya. In the afternoon visit Ramjhula, Janaki Setu, Parmarth Niketan, Geeta Bhawan, in the evening you may visit Triveni Ghat to see the prayers. Overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 04:  RISHIKESH – HARIDWAR      (01 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Haridwar. The city holds religious significance since it is where the holy river Ganga first enters the Indo-Gangetic plains of North India. We will visit Mansa Devi temple, Maya Devi temple, Daksha Mahadev temple, Sapta Rishi temple and Ramanand ashram.  After the spiritual journey, return to the hotel and relax. In the evening witness the Ganga Aarti at Har-ki –Pauri.  Har-ki-Pauri is the main ghat known as Brahmakund, popular legend has it that Lord Vishnu left his footprint at Har-ki-Pauri.

The entire area resonates with the sound of conch shells and bells, as priests perform traditional river worship. Thousands of earthen lamps are floating in the river, twinkling like gold in the darkness, creating an entrancing image. After this divine experience, return to the hotel for the night stay.

 

DAY 05:  HARIDWAR –  NAINITAL  (220 KMS)

After breakfast drive to Nainital:  Arrive and check into the hotel. Nainital is known as the Lake of Three Sages, or the Tri Rishi Sarovar. As documented in history, the three sages Atri, Pulastya, and Pulaha paused in Nainital to quench their thirst on their trek. When they discovered there was no water, they dug a hole and filled it with water from the holy lake of Tibet called Mansarovar. As a result, the well-known Nainital Lake was formed.  In the late afternoon, you can visit Nainital Local Market, Tibtiyan Market, and Thandi Sadak. Overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 06:  NAINITAL LAKE TOUR

After a leisurely breakfast you may explore Nainital’s highland retreat, endowed with spectacular natural beauty and diverse natural resources. Visit the lakes of Bhim Tal, Sat Tal, Naukuchia Tal, Snow Point Mall Road, Boating Club, Overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 07:  NAINITAL KAINCHI DHAM CORBETT (4HRS)

After breakfast check out and visit Kainchi Dham (20 kms). Arrive and explore the sacred temple complex, if interested participate in Satsangs, group meditation and other spiritual discourses. By late afternoon drive to Jim Corbett (2.5hrs). Arrive Corbett and check into the hotel/ Resort. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Corbett Tiger Reserve is India’s first national park, located in the Himalayan foothills at 3300 feet elevation and encompassing an area of 520 square kilometers. Corbett has the highest density of tigers in India. Other carnivores include leopards, elephants, bears, and deer. The slender-nosed gharial and marsh crocodile can be seen basking on the banks of the Ramganga River.

 

DAY 08:  CORBETT PARK

We will go for an early morning jungle safari at the Corbett National Park. Return to the resort for breakfast.  Relax at the resort and after lunch we proceed for another safari in the park and return by evening.  Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Morning Safari timings are from 0530AM to 09 and afternoon timings are from 0230PM to 05PM (exact timings will be informed one day before the scheduled safari)

 

DAY 09:  CORBETT – DELHI

Early morning at 0530AM, leave for Bhaunkhal mountain drive. It’s a scenic drive between Corbett and Ramnagar division forest. From 300 metres to 1300-meter elevation range with a beautiful Kosi and Ramganga valley view. If lucky animals can be seen and Himalayan ranges from the top. Return to hotel and after breakfast at hotel check out and drive to Delhi airport (7hrs) to board onward flight.
