TITLE – KASHMIR HOLIDAY PACKGE

DURATON : 04 NIGHTS AND 05 DAYS

DAY 01:  ARRIVAL SRINAGAR

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel/Houseboat. After  a quick wash and change, commence the city tour and explore the Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh constructed in 1632 A.D. by Asif Khan, Jahangir’s brother-in-law, and Shalimar Bagh commissioned by Jahangir for Empress Noor Jahan. Additionally, visit Chashm-e-Shahi. The banks of Dal Lake are home to these lovely gardens. After the garden tour, we will return to the hotel/houseboat for overnight stay.

 

DAY 02:  SRINAGAR – GULMARG – SRINAGAR (54 KMS /02HRS)

After breakfast, proceed on a full-day trip to Gulmarg, an intriguing destination found by the British in the nineteenth century. Gulmarg is one of Kashmir’s most well-known tourist destinations, nestled in a basin surrounded by pine trees within the Pir-Panjal range at an elevation of 2,730 meters above sea level. It is notable for having one of the world’s highest green golf courses, with eighteen holes and a historic clubhouse. In Gulmarg you have options of Gondola ride, Phase one covers Gulmarg to Kungdoor: The first phase transports you to an altitude of 8,530 ft, reaching Kongdori Station and Phase two Kungdoor to Apharwat, this stage of the Gondola ascends to an elevation of 12,293 ft. Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.

 

DAY 03:  SRINAGAR – PAHALGAM (98 KMS/ 03HRS)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Pahalgam. On the way, make a stop to visit a bat factory and Apple Valley. Pahalgam, which is renowned for its scenic beauty, and a favored location for Bollywood film shoots. It retains its status as a health resort. Arrive Pahalgam and take a  local car for an excursion to Chandanwari (3288 meters), Betaab Valley, and Aru Valley. Nestled amid snow-covered mountain peaks and lush pine and deodar forests, Betaab Valley is situated at the mouth of River Sheshnag. Check into the hotel and relax in beautiful surroundings. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 04:  PAHALGAM – SRINAGAR (94 KMS/ 03HRS)

After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Srinagar. Arrive Srinagar by afternoon and Visit the Shankaracharya Temple, also known as the Jyeshteshwara Temple, in Srinagar, which is located atop the Shankaracharya Hill on the Zabarwan Range. The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, offers panoramic views of Srinagar from its 1,000-foot elevation above the valley floor. Further visit Pari Mahal, or the Palace of Fairies, a garden with seven terraces situated atop the Zabarwan mountain range. This garden looks out over the southwest corner of Dal Lake and the city of Srinagar. We will go on a serene one-hour boat ride on the lake known as “SHIKARA.” Experience the Venice of India as you witness the aquatic life of Srinagar. After the boat ride check into your houseboat located on Dal or Nigeen Lake. Overnight at the houseboat.

 

DAY 05:  SRINAGAR – DEPARTURE

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight to the onward destination.
